Harland has been an ICAEW registered firm since the early eighties, but our approach is fresh and backed by solid and deep expertise in finance that could be critical to the success of your business.

Harland is headed up by David Harland & Deborah Edwards. We’ve been practising what we preach and grown our own, expanding the business, opening new offices as well as developing our client base across the South of England and the Home Counties. We’ve paved our way and learnt from the best – true British Entrepreneurs who really have achieved great things.

David and Deborah are well supported. All the team are either qualified accountants, tax advisors, accounts technicians or are training towards a recognised industry qualification. A bit about us

David Harland, FCCA, ACA & Deborah Edwards ACA, Directors – Harland Accountants

David isn’t your typical practice accountant. Born in St. Austell, David took the reins of the practice from his father in 2008. As well as being an accountant qualified with both the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, David has worked at executive director level across a range of industries, including healthcare ( The Priory Healthcare, Care Management Group, Enara) and tourism (Eden Project). A cricket fan and keen badminton player, David specialises in:

  • Commercial funding

Joined by Chartered Accountant Deborah in 2009, who qualified with a top forty firm and ran her own successful practice. Deborah oversees the day to day running of all offices, responsible for audit and best practice alongside the management of a group of fast-growing clients.

Deborah is also Finance Director of Crowdfunder UK, the UK’s leading crowdfunding platform which raised £650k in fourteen hours, and is a leader in alternative finance. A shooter on the netball court, Deborah specialises in:
